This module integrates a MOSFET gate driver with a limiting Schottky diode, two power MOSFETs, and a temperature monitor. It adopts a heat enhanced ultra compact 5 x 5 mm PQFN package and dual Cool ™ Architecture. SPS switching power levels are optimized to provide dynamic performance with minimal system inductance and high power output. MOSFET gate driver can reduce idle time and propagation delay. PowerTrench MOSFET technology can reduce switch ringing and in most DC-DC converter applications, there is no need for shock absorber circuits. The thermal alarm function warns of potential overheating (which can cause thermal shutdown) and provides low load efficiency. It has an automatic DCM mode and a low side gate shutdown SPS module, ultimately providing a three state PWM output gate driver for compatibility with PWM controllers.
